Miss Evie turned five on Saturday. I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast - making me smile and stealing my heart every step of the way!
The celebration started on Friday at school. We sent cookies with pink frosting and sprinkles, and her teacher gave her a special birthday crown. She knew exactly what to expect as the class birthday girl, so it was a highly anticipated day that did not disappoint. 
On Saturday morning, we celebrated alongside her dearest little girl friends with a "Pancakes and Pajamas Party". 
It was really fun. Probably the simplest party we've thrown yet, but it just couldn't have been sweeter.
The girls enjoyed story time, socializing while making wooden bead necklaces, and...
... shared a special birthday breakfast. My sister-in-law just e-mailed me a beautiful album of party pictures that she took, so you can expect to see a very pretty party post soon!
On Sunday we met our in town family members at Chili's (Evie's favorite restaurant) to celebrate one more time.
Momma K brought bright pink cupcakes!
And the girls got to celebrate with Sweet Cousin again
It's been a great birthday weekend. I feel so blessed by our precious family and friends. Thank you so much for loving my girl.

oh, and Owen wanted to call Ev again TONIGHT and wish her ANOTHER happy birthday. I had to explain how birthdays only come once a year. :(
