Evie's 6th Bithday "Camp-out"

Evie turned 6 in January AND lost her first tooth!
Uncles/Rangers Neal and Reed, along with Aunt Molly, were in town for Evie's big day and helped to make her party extra special

We celebrated with a "Camp Out" party!  We had a fun outdoor picnic/weenie roast.

Some of the fun included making Pinecone/Peanut Butter Bird Feeders

We also went on a "Baby Bear Hunt" where the kids searched the yard for teddy bears to "rescue".  The kids LOVED it and I forgot to take pictures in the excitement.

Instead of cake... we roasted S'mores!!!

It was pretty cold, so the party concluded with gift opening inside by the cozy fire!

It was a great party.  Happy Trails!!!

We love you forever Evie Grace!  Happy Birthday!

Anabelle's 3rd Birthday!

Our little "Miss Mess" turned 3 a few weeks ago. Instead of having a party this year, we celebrated with a day of Anabelle's favorite fun activities.

-We ate breakfast at Panera (Girlfriend loves chocolate chip muffin tops!)
- We went to the mall puppy store and the play place
- We let her pick her own cake at the Target Bakery
- We took her to the toy store to "adopt a baby"
- We ate Chinese takeout (her fave), cake, and ice cream and opened presents at home

I was thrilled for months about surprising Anabelle with the "baby adoption". The whole experience was so cute and hilarious! A local boutique toy store has a Newborn Nursery where girl's can choose a lovable companion, participate in a little "pediatric exam", help fill out a birth certificate, and learn to swaddle and change diapers. So precious! In place of a party (and in celebration of the coming of our own baby sister) we decided to let both Evie and Annie adopt a baby. Annie adopted a blonde and named her Elisabeth May ("E-wibef") and Evie adopted a red head and named her Pearl Grace. Both girls have really enjoyed having their own "newborns", and I think they will grow to love them even more once they experience having a real live new baby in our home.

We had such a special laid back day - such a special way to celebrate 3 wonderful years with our girl! We love you Anabelle May!

Spring Time 1 Pony Party

Does blog world seem dead lately or what? My guess is that the rest of you bloggers have been out of the house enjoying spring just like us - hence the scarcity of posts ever where these days. In a desperate and somewhat sad attempt to catch up (because I hope to share about Easter weekend next week) I am just going to shoot out a couple of picture posts to document the past few weeks. So here is Spring Time Post number 1 - A Pony Birthday Party!
P.S. Stefanie, in response to your comment/question about my dinning room chairs, I decided to paint them bright white. Yes, I am going to mix cream and white, but it works in my head, so we shall see :) I have made ZERO progress since you guys came to dinner though, but I hope to get back to it soon! XO

3 Glorious Days of Birthday

Miss Evie turned five on Saturday. I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast - making me smile and stealing my heart every step of the way!The celebration started on Friday at school. We sent cookies with pink frosting and sprinkles, and her teacher gave her a special birthday crown. She knew exactly what to expect as the class birthday girl, so it was a highly anticipated day that did not disappoint. On Saturday morning, we celebrated alongside her dearest little girl friends with a "Pancakes and Pajamas Party". It was really fun. Probably the simplest party we've thrown yet, but it just couldn't have been sweeter. The girls enjoyed story time, socializing while making wooden bead necklaces, and...... shared a special birthday breakfast. My sister-in-law just e-mailed me a beautiful album of party pictures that she took, so you can expect to see a very pretty party post soon!On Sunday we met our in town family members at Chili's (Evie's favorite restaurant) to celebrate one more time.Momma K brought bright pink cupcakes! And the girls got to celebrate with Sweet Cousin again
It's been a great birthday weekend. I feel so blessed by our precious family and friends. Thank you so much for loving my girl.

Happy Birthday to my Evie!
