It was so fun! I just LOVE my precious Birthday Girl!

3 Glorious Days of Birthday

Miss Evie turned five on Saturday. I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast - making me smile and stealing my heart every step of the way!The celebration started on Friday at school. We sent cookies with pink frosting and sprinkles, and her teacher gave her a special birthday crown. She knew exactly what to expect as the class birthday girl, so it was a highly anticipated day that did not disappoint. On Saturday morning, we celebrated alongside her dearest little girl friends with a "Pancakes and Pajamas Party". It was really fun. Probably the simplest party we've thrown yet, but it just couldn't have been sweeter.The girls enjoyed story time, socializing while making wooden bead necklaces, and...... shared a special birthday breakfast. My sister-in-law just e-mailed me a beautiful album of party pictures that she took, so you can expect to see a very pretty party post soon!On Sunday we met our in town family members at Chili's (Evie's favorite restaurant) to celebrate one more time.Momma K brought bright pink cupcakes!And the girls got to celebrate with Sweet Cousin again

It's been a great birthday weekend. I feel so blessed by our precious family and friends. Thank you so much for loving my girl.

Happy Halloween!

Candy you say?

Well come on, what are we waiting for?!!! Never mind that the 4 yr. old is mistakenly wearing the 2t and vice versa, Come On, Let's Go! Yes, that will fit in my bucket...Why thank you, and a Happy Halloween to you too!

Three nights of Halloween fun at our house and this "bumble bee keeper" is pooped out! We went to our church's "Fall Family Fun Fest" on Friday night, then trick or treating at a retirement community and Ev's school party on Saturday night, and then neighborhood trick or treating and candy distributing on Sunday night... fweeew!!! I thought I was going to die by the end of night 2 (that was the night we mixed up the girl's costumes), but I made it and the girls enjoyed every second - not to mention this mommy loves some candy! I have to tell you this story because it is too funny, Anabelle was so adorably confused by her antenna - mistaking them for dog ears - that she remained very seriously in character as a puppy throughout all of the festivities! Ha - bless her sweet little heart! It was so cute that we dubbed her a "Buppy" - I guess it's some sort of new hybrid - you know ;) Below are a few pictures of the girls on Sunday morning, I just had to share their cute Halloween/Fall dresses...
