I'm a happy southern gal, a daughter of The King, a wife to my fabulous husband Ben, and a mother to my 2 precious little girls Evie and Anabelle. This blog is a collection of our stories and projects - the best of them anyway! We are a very busy family. My husband is a full time firefighter/paramedic, a paramedic instructor, and he also owns a pressure washing business. I am a full time stay at home mom, and I also own a small monogramming company. In addition to "all that" we are renovating our 1970's home. Whew! It's a lot, but we do our best to juggle. My education background is in interior design through Florida State College at Jacksonville (though I did not finish) and I've "dabbled" in event planning. I have so enjoyed putting that knowledge and experience to work as a mommy and homemaker, so along with pictures and stories about our girls, you can also expect to see some of our/my project undertakings here on "A Little Bit of This".
While I attempt to be as honest and real on this blog as I can safely be online, it can end up being an unrealistically flattering picture of our life. Since I am both author and editor, it's natural that I tend to share mostly our "best". In all truth though, we are chaotic messes - sinners in need of God's grace on a daily basis. Don't forget it ;)!!!
