My girl is such a dreamer. She comes by it honestly, her mother was always a dreamer too. Just like me, Evie thinks ahead about her future, about the day when she will have a husband, a house, and babies of her own. She makes me smile because I so understand the way this particular part of her heart works. On the way home from school the other day, she began spilling her dreams for her adult life, and in her usual Evie way she spoke a thousand words a minute without coming up for air... "My husband, Chauky, will look just like Flynn Rider. EVERYBODY in my family will have a motorcycle! Even Mom and Dad and Annie, and Daddy's motorcycle will be blue because that is his favorite color. I am going to have 3 kids - a boy, a girl, and another boy. Their names are Bruno, Lizy, and Baby Jack. I will have the biggest motorcycle because it has to hold 3 car seats, and it will be pink. Our house will have stairs and a garden and 8 bedrooms! Mom, do you and Dad and Annie want to live in my house? I'm going to have a chihuahua named Pug and he will be so cute, and..."

I was going to have 5 boys named Johnny, Robbie, Toby, Corrie and Bennie. God gave me Megan, Neal and Reed: more than I could have ever hoped for or imagined!
Mom - and you ended up with a "Bennie" after all (if you're not to embarassed to claim him that is :) I had 5 imaginary kids too... Kirsten, Molly, Amy, Sarah, and Peter. Plus let's not forget my "imaginary" husbands... Steven, Matt, and Taylor Hanson!
I laughed out loud when I read this and then had to read it to William, who also thought it was hilarious! As you know, I was married to two men(Phillip and Tim) at different times of course... and my children were Felicity and Molly (and Kranin the red headed step child) I love that I have those memories with you and Janie ;-)

Oh my word, I totally forgot about Kranin the red headed step child - what kind of name is Kranin any way? Yikes! Don't forget your baby girl Lucy - remember?
