The morning "punkin' patchery" was followed by an afternoon trip to Conner's A-maize-ing Acres with my parents. There is no better way to soak up Fall's splendor than an outdoor day on a Farm in October. Animals, hayrides, and a redneck rig-up ride made of barrels painted like cows and haulin' youngin's behind a tractor at 35 MPH! It just doesn't get any better than that! Annie conversed with piggies, Evie cooed over little chickens, and then we ALL took a dip in the corn box. Never been in a corn box? Well then My Dear you just have not lived! It feels fantastic - dare I say better than sand at the beach. I told Ben that "I no longer want a hot tub for the back porch - Momma just wants a corn box!" But if you ever do have the great opportunity to wallow ("a-hem" I mean "waller") in a trough of dry corn, please, OH PLEASE follow the rules!...

UmmmHmmm... I told ya'll that corn box s#*t was serious!Happy Fall Ya'll!!!

those rules were made for kids like Owen....anxious to put stuff up his nose. Where is the "Thou shall not potty in the corn box" rule??
I'm just glad that the corn box didn't have an age limit. It was a great day down on the farm! Thanx
Every summer when I was little we would go to the farm and play for hours in the huge corn wagon/trailer. Hours!! We stuffed our clothes, burried each other...the possibilities are endless. I miss it. So fun, wish I had been there!!
Those are precious pics of precious girls ;) MLK
