My baby girl started school yesterday. I feel like the last 4.5 years have slipped by me! I also feel like a precious season of life has ended - and that feeling really does hurt. Having Evie home with me all day everyday has been the sweetest blessing to me, and I am just so hesitant to leave this phase. Evie, however, is embracing this new season with joy and seems to be thriving! I am very proud of her outgoing and friendly little spirit. She is making new friends quickly and loving her teachers. I have a feeling that her happiness will be contagious and I will catch on soon ;)I love you Evie Grace - You School Girl You!
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.
You are serving the Lord Christ.
Collosians 3:23-24

I have been wondering how her first day was. Sorry, no chance to call yet!! (Well, unless you are up too at 4 in the morning!), but we did pray for you all. Evie looked adorable in the dress/converse combo. love you.
Congratulations, Evie (and Megan)! Evie looks adorable and I love that she is so excited an eager. Can't wait to see you guys!
So cute! I can't believe she is in school already. Wasn't it just yesterday we were holding her in the nursery??
My first grandchild off to school---seems surreal. She sounded so excited when I talked to her Monday night. Hope the next 2 days went as well. She looks adorable and ready to take on a school schedule. I love that little one ;)Mama K
