Prego Update
I'm still plu-plu-pluggin' along on bed rest. After a visit to labor and delivery last night and a follow-up OB visit today, I can rest easy for now. Due to some seemingly ominous symptoms I was having, I was given a fetal fibronectin test, which basically investigated my likelihood of delivering in the next two weeks. My results were thankfully negative, so I'm grateful for what I anticipate will be two weeks of more emotionally sound rest than I've been getting. My doctor said that my symptoms are typical of a woman 8 weeks away from delivery (and I've had symptoms for at least 2 weeks already), if I was 32 weeks pregnant he would not worry about me. Being that I'm not yet 25 weeks pregnant, it appears that I'm on the same track that I was on with Evie's delivery. I will be seeing my doctor every 2 weeks from now on, as well as making my regular visits to the high risk specialists. I'm comfortable knowing that I'm being watched closely and I'm still hopeful that I will make it past 34 weeks with the help of medication and more restricted bed rest later on, if needed. Please continue to pray for me and Anabelle (Ben and Evie too). This has been rough, but we're holding up well. We are very grateful for the wonderful support from our family and friends. Thanks for the prayers, meals, good company, and baby sitting help. Your help has been most helpful! We thank God for blessing us with your friendship!!!
