My Firefly

Even though the dance recital was nearly three weeks ago, I just couldn't forget to share a few photos from Evie's special day. Her class performed a cute tap routine to Owl City's Fireflies - complete with light up wings and everything. It was pretty fancy. So without further adieu... my little firefly... The Nutcracker Ballet

Evie's big Nutcracker performance was this past Sunday night. She was absolutely adorable dancing as a little mouse! The entire ballet was wonderful - such a treat to watch. It was such a privilege that Evie got to participate, and I'm so glad that she enjoyed herself so much!

Almost Nutcracker Time!

It's almost Nutcracker time! Evie's performance is this Sunday night and we are getting really excited! I have a handful of things to do this week to get ready, for example Ev and I need to practice doing her stage make up - yikes! I wanted to share this photo of Evie from our Christmas session - so sweet. She is holding a Nutcracker that my brother Reed brought from Germany for my birthday present this year - really really special! Also, I would guess that there may be a few of you other enthusiasts, who love the Nutcracker as much as Evie and I do, and I thought you may enjoy these fun commemorative treasures that I found online.
