When MaryClaire was 2 weeks old, we had an impromptu photo shoot in the nursery that resulted in some of my favorite family pictures ever.  It was afternoon, most of us were still in our pajamas - bed headed - no makeup.  The light in Mary's room was soft and warm.  I grabbed my camera, and Ben and I took turns snapping the sweet intimate details of our precious new baby girl.  I had planned to have professional newborn photographs done, but when I looked back through my camera, I felt like no one else could capture our Baby Mary, or our "big" girls, quite like Mommy and Daddy had.  We know all 3 of our girls in a way no one else ever could - their precious quirks and secrets.  Ben and I are by no means photographers, but I love how accurately these photos represent that time in our lives - we were just raw... 

2 Months Old on Sunday!

MaryClaire Baby Bear is 2 months old! We love our precious girl. I am still deep in newborn fog over here, but I hope to be back in full swing soon!

Baptism Slideshow

MaryClaire was baptized today. Our pastor put this sweet slideshow together to introduce her to our church family. Today was also Evie's 6th birthday!

One Month Old Today

Our peanut is one month old today!

MaryClaire does not like...

... bedtime unless she has been snuggled all the way to sleep

... having her face touched excessively by her big sisters ;)

... bath time

... waiting while Mom or Dad mix her bottle

This first month with you has been a blessing! We love you Baby Mary!

Update: At MaryClaire's 1 month appointment on Friday she weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 21.5" long

Hospital Days

Another wonderful piece of family news... Evie prayed to receive Christ on Tuesday night. These two joyful parents are awesomely aware of our many blessings this week! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
