I believe this is the looooongest break I have ever taken from posting! MaryClaire, I hope you never accuse me of not writing much about your babyhood (even though you'd be right) but I have just been way busy soaking up every ounce of your sweetness! I truly believe that there has never been a sweeter baby on the planet (I'm sure every mother feels the same). This child smiles all the time! We currently have a stomach bug working it's way through our house, and last night Mary threw up all over herself in her crib. Ben checked on her at 4am and found her soaking wet, freezing cold,and sound asleep. We woke her to clean her up and change the sheets, and she was nothing but smiles - seriously - could you ever pull yourself away from a baby like that!??? She is just so joyful. I hope that part of her never changes.
I think it has been six months since I last posted, so I have lots to catch up on, and I do want to go back and fill in details of Mary's life so far. She just turned 7 months this past week and is doing all sorts of fun stuff. I only wanted to get my feet wet with the blog tonight - so I think I will say "goodbye" for now - baby steps! Hopefully I will be back to posting regularly again soon!
