Hello Ya'll... and Fall!

Hey. I'm actually posting - it's been a while! We've had a hectic and sort of exhausting last few weeks, but the "bad stuff" seems to have passed and we had plenty of fun times in between. I'll keep it simple and just give you some quick updates...

- BEN: Was really sick for about a week, and it turned out that he actually had a prostate infection, but he responded well to antibiotics and he is doing much better.
- EVIE: Is loving school! She has not cried since the first week and she is thriving!
- ANABELLE: Turned 2 last Wednesday! She had a great beach picnic party and I can't wait to share it with you!
- REED (my brother): Made it safely to his deployment and has been able to speak with my parents a few times.

I am so excited that Fall is here, it doesn't feel like it in Florida yet, but I will just pretend! Fall always makes me feel fresh and inspired. I have so many ideas, projects, and new commitments in the works and floating through my head - I can't wait to share. I have the girl's closet stocked with a new Fall wardrobe that I collected from a variety of sales, and the little ladies and I had a mall marathon on Saturday to work on my Fall wardrobe. I also spent my birthday money this week (I had a birthday at the end of August) on a new serger, so I am looking forward to some fun sewing projects! I'm still pluggin' away at other home projects... the bedrooms, the guest bath, the kitchen, etc. Plus I've started Christmas shopping! I LOVE this time of year!

I know I keep saying this, but I so want to get back to posting! Hopefully I will learn to balance a little better soon! Update: I woke up to 64 degree weather this lovely Monday morning!!!
