The View

The view from my kitchen window...The view from up here...The view into Annie's mouth ;)...The view on the couch...But anyway you look at it, we're all sick over here!

It's day six... blah! I took the girls to the Doctor yesterday, and it turns out they have developed ear infections - poor babies! So we've added Amoxicillin to our arsenal of medication. Speaking of that, did you know that Publix gives away Amoxicillin for free right now? They do! Saved me $20.00! We've been home in our PJ's all week, sadly, that's been most of our 2010 so far :( We seem to be catching everything the "sick world" has to throw at us this season - bummer!

My business has started to pick up lately, right about the time I started feeling crummy, funny - right? I'm actually enjoying the work since I'm stuck at home anyway. I also just got a great offer from a local photographer, so I'm working on putting together a new line and taking a different approach to my Etsy site. I still have not found my new place since the CPSIA laws went into effect, and this is just the shove I need to make some things happen! So that has given me something interesting to think about as I sit on the couch :P I'm going to step it up and simplify at the same time - you'll see later.

Before I forget to share something with all of you, I want to take you back to last Friday night (right before we all came down with the plague). My husband was given an award for the actions his division took at a car accident involving 1 car and 9 teens. The accident was a tragedy in our community, it was a very very bad crash. Because of firefighters like my husband though, several lives were saved, and other families were givien a chance to say goodbye. It's truly a heartbreaking story, but I'm very proud of my husband for doing this type of work.
