Evie had her haircut for the first time :( It was a decision that I nearly backed out of several times, but I finally persuaded myself that she needed it. So with a lump in my throat, I handed her over to my new favorite stylist and asked that she " just trim it enough to make it look clean". I still wanted her to look like herself. My hands literally trembled when I held a little curl that had been trimmed from her head, it felt like the end of something. Evie's babyhood is over, and while great things await her in the future, I am slightly mournful. I will treasure that little curl forever, as a sweet sort of nod to days gone by.

Evie's First Haircut

Hey, our internet has been kicking itself off for some reason.....So I'm glad to finally be able to say how cute Evie looks at her first hair cutting session. And that last pic of Anabelle---she looks like she just saw a bug---her personality is beginning to stick out all over. How cute!!! Marlene
