Well...
... I'm listening to Obama's acceptance speech and I must say that being on the losing team is not my favorite. However, for the past eight years I've seen hundreds of Americans behave very disrespectfully towards our current president, and I certainly don't want to fall into that category either, and so I will pray that I can be respectful of the man that God chose to lead the USA. On a somewhat silly note (mostly because I need to laugh right now) I would like to offer a concilation award of "Best Dressed" to the McCain campaign as I was really looking forward to observing Cindy's wardrobe over the next 4 years. I've been a first lady fashion enthusiast since junior high, and she had real potential of being another Jackie (Michelle on the other hand - pretty boring). So, congrats Cindy on receiving the highly sought after "Meg's Best Dressed Potential First Lady Award"!

I echo your disdain for the peops who bash the president. This girl doesn't do that either, whomever the person!
Good thing God is still in control--This is only the 2nd time that the person I voted for President didn't get elected. Clinton was the other one.(since 1972). The Dems have been so critical of the Reps so let's see what they can do. Then they won't have anyone to blame but themselves.
Funny award! I am sad we won't see more of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. :)
