Good news! I saw my OB and my specialist yesterday and found out that I have not begun to dilate - at all! And my placenta has moved up which indicates (if all goes well) I will not need a cesarean! Thank you Jesus! Unfortunately, I am still on mandatory "take it easy" (that's what I'm calling it these days) my specialist says that the next four weeks are critical in preventing pre-term labor and delivery. I will see my specialist again in four weeks and their findings then will be a good indication of my chances of delivering early, but at least for now - things look great! Ben and I really enjoyed my high risk ultrasound yesterday, it was lengthy and very detailed - great bonding time with Anabelle. At the end, the technician treated us to some 3D shots and we came face to face with a sweet little someone that was surprisingly familiar. Take a look...
There she is! Anabelle! You can see her little sleepy face peering through various tissues, and we think she looks just like Evie! I have been absolutely treasuring/in love with this picture, I would snuggle it to sleep if I didn't think I'd crush it. She has never seemed more real to me and I am getting so, SO EXCITED! I'm almost 27 weeks pregnant, so if I can make it 10 more weeks Anabelle will be full term. I'm hopeful that our chances are good. Anabelle is measuring smaller in size than Evie did, and my specialist thinks that size (mine in comparison to the baby's) is the problem that puts me at risk for early delivery. Please continue to pray for us. I know God has a perfect plan for me and Anabelle, but the unknowns - the ups and the downs, are very hard for me. Thanks again for all of your support!P.S. I got a haircut!
