Georgia and Cousins

Evie and I traveled to Warner Robbins Georgia last week to visit my cousin, Katie, and her two precious babies, Maisie and Liam. This was the first time that I met Liam, who was born in December; I really enjoyed getting a "baby fix". He was so sweet. Evie and Maisie (or as Evie says "A-Maishie") were quite the pair, it looks as though they're destined to be BFFs. The girls have so much in common and so many similar passions including: a love for kitties, baby dolls, real babies, dancing, singing (loud), little kitchens, play food, "bwankies", etc. They're both also huge Disney enthusiast, in fact we're planning a joint trip to Disney World this spring after my brother's wedding. Maisie is an aspiring Cinderella and has recently been introduced to The Little Mermaid; it's only a matter of time before she is enthralled by all things Disney Princess. Evie is still the ever faithful Mickey Mouse fan, although she did enjoy watching Cinderella (or "Rellie") at Katie's house. My other cousin, Janie (the cool aunt) was able to come down from Atlanta for a couple of days, Katie and I were elated to have another adult around, she added some sanity to the house. There were actually more adults in the house than kids, but some how we still felt out numbered. The big girls (Katie, Janie, and I) were able to get out by ourselves on Thursday night, thanks to Katie's husband, William. I don't know when the last time was that the three of us were alone; it was probably some time before my wedding. Anyway, it was so refreshing; it's been a long time since I laughed that hard. I've been close with my cousins since infancy; it's really special that we've stayed so close. Overall, the trip was a total success (as long as we can forget the disaster of a trip to TJMaxx:) Evie and I are really looking forward to seeing them again soon!
